The Glock 42 KILLER? [Video]

For people who like small guns (as in really small) but don’t want some tiny one-shot or two-shot novelty pistol, the Glock 42 has been a popular choice the last several years. After all it is much smaller than a 1911 or most other pistols, and it is a Glock (which is a deal maker or deal breaker for some people).

And maybe the Glock 42 is an ideal pistol for having a very small concealed carry firearm on your person at all times.

But not everyone wants a Glock, and technology moves ahead. So, when models aren’t updated, there will be some people that go looking for the newest technological advances so that they can have the latest and greatest gun.

For example, what if you love your Glock 42 but could find another very small semiautomatic pistol that was smaller. And had more capacity. And had a trigger that people love (which isn’t something that you usually hear about a stock trigger on a Glock 42). Would you choose the new gun over the Glock 42? Would the new gun be a Glock 42 killer when it comes to which you’ll carry?

One YouTuber decided to make a comparison between the Glock 42 and that new gun, which is the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0, and her conclusions may surprise some people.

You can watch that video below.

If you watched the video (and you should. It’s worth the few minutes), then, you already know the conclusion which is: both people were really tempted to ditch the Glock 42 for the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 but were dealing with the sunk costs that they’ve already spent for carrying the Glock 42 (buying holsters, etc. just for carrying the Glock 42). And as you know, if you’ve spent your hard-earned money on something, even if it no longer makes sense to keep doing it, it can be heard to let go of that decision that no longer is in your best interest.

It’s a human nature issue.

But, really, the question here is one that you’ll need to decide for yourself to figure out if you should get or stay with a Glock 42 or go with a Bodyguard 2.0 if you want a small .380 for deep concealed carry.

  1. A while back I was a member. I have the dvd’s for the 1911 pistol, the H style pistol and the AR-15 style weapon. I do need the manual for each. Also, I would like to get your email news letters. I am a senior citizen who originally was from California. My father was a Pearl Harbor survivor. I am a veteran of the USN-R. I was a hospital corpsman.
I was embedded in a Marine Corps at Camp Lejuene, NC.
Like you, I am very concerned about the future of the country and my families safety.

    Thank you
