The FAST Way To Get Your Gun Going Again [Video]

We’ve all been there. We’ve all had our gun misfeed or jam, and it never happens at a “convenient” time (and if you haven’t experienced this, yet, then, you probably haven’t spent much time at the range).

Hopefully, you’ve never been in a survival situation where you needed to get your gun going again after this has happened. That may be every legal firearms owner’s worst nightmare.

But what do you do if you’re in a gun fight, when your life is on the line, and you find that your pistol jams or misfeeds? How can you get back in the fight quickly?

That’s one of the many things that you need to think about and train for so that you can be prepared. You don’t train for these situations because you hope that they will happen to you. No, you train for them so that, if the situation comes up, you know what to do to give yourself the best chance of surviving the situation.

It’s just a subset of why we train for a defensive use of our firearms in the first place: so that we are the ones able to go home to our family after the incident if someone initiates life-threatening violence against us or someone that we love.

So, with all that said, what can we do to get back in the fight quickly? That’s exactly what Jeff at Patriot Training Center goes over in the less than seven minute video below.

The good thing is that the solution to most pistol jam or misfeed situations is immediate action. It’s quick, simple and straightforward. Even the situation that Jeff describes that can’t be solved with immediate action is, thankfully, still quick to fix.

So, now that you know what to do in these types of situations, like any other good information, you need to train it. You need to take some time and (safely) go through the actions so that you can do it even during the adrenaline dump that happens in a real gun fight situation.

That way you can save your life or the lives of those you love.

As always, the best way to practice your skills is with dryfire. That’s why we’re giving away a FREE 30 day dryfire program that only takes 10-minutes per day here for you: http://freedryfire.com/YT
