The longer that I live, the more clear to me it becomes that those on the political left project their own unhinged violent fantasies on us (legal gun owners) and use those projections as their “justifications” for trying to steal our Second Amendment rights.
But the kind of violence that they continually accuse us of doing, that they say that they are trying to prevent almost never comes from those who are centrists or on the political right.
It’s leftists who are the violent ones, and they delude themselves into thinking that the rest of the world is like them.
It’s not.
And, so, we have an example of a leftist with influence over impressionable young minds advocating for horrible things. Darwin Nercesian writes,
A rabid leftist climate “professor” from the University of Pennsylvania has suggested Americans use the Second Amendment to stop President Trump from dismantling the Department of Education, clearly calling for violence and an armed uprising against the sitting President.
On Thursday, May 22, Michael Mann took to Bluesky, a decentralized, open-source social media platform, seeking to compel the President’s compliance with a federal judge’s ruling to halt the termination of over 1,300 Department of Education employees and reinstate those who had been terminated. The problem is that he did so under the threat of violence while calling for armed resistance.
“If Trump doesn’t comply, we’re in second amendment territory,” Mann wrote on Bluesky.
Now, whatever your opinion on Donald Trump or the Department of Education is, to imply that violence would be justified to keep a department of government in place is insane.
That’s literally the reverse of what the Second Amendment is about when it indicates that it is to enable citizens to protect themselves from the government doing things to them.
But this kind of reverse thinking about rights and projection of violent tendencies onto the rest of the world is unique to the political left.
Remember your ABCs: Always Be Carrying, folks, because there are some crazy people out there. And some of them are college professors.
